Who Should Study a Level 9 PGC in Innovation for Sustainability in the Workplace?

With sustainability becoming a more important issue across the globe, and particularly in facilities and workplace management, qualifications such as the Level 9 Post Graduate Certificate in Innovation for Sustainability in the Workplace are becoming more and more sought after by employers in the industry.

Sustainable targets are being thrown at companies at local, national, and international levels and, in order to meet them, they require personnel with the most relevant and up-to-date qualifications to deliver on these sustainability goals.

If you are already working in the facilities and workplace management industry and you are looking to diversify your portfolio and take on additional responsibilities in your current role then this course will help you on your way to just that. You will learn from expert tutors and industry leaders, and you will be in a perfect situation to bring that information back into the workplace and effect change.

This course is also perfect for you if you feel like you’ve hit a ceiling in your work as a facilities or workplace manager and you want to move into a different role. It will take your established experience as a facilities manager and funnel it through the lens of sustainability and the environment, giving you a brand-new perspective on the role a facilities manager plays in a company and in wider society in general.

The course also works well as a complement to other facilities management-related qualifications such as Portobello Institute’s BSc (Hons) in Facilities & Workplace Management. Building on your existing knowledge of facilities management, this PGC will help you use that knowledge as it pertains to sustainable practices in the workplace.
